Mike and Peggy Casper live in Kansas with their two Bracchi, Rica, Neve, and Trey, a calico cat named Jazz, and Mango, an Amazon parrot. We own and operate a family farming business. Mike is also a guide at a hunting lodge near our home where our two girls are professional hunting dogs. So how did Mike and Peggy get into the breed? Peggy says: I was watching the World Dog Show from Milan in 2000 when I saw first saw a Bracco Italiano. I knew immediately I had to find out more about this remarkable breed. After several months of research we both concluded this was the dog for us. We then began our search on the internet for a breeder. Finally, almost a year after we started searching for a dog, we were on our way to get Rica from Chris Goodman in Iowa. |
Two months later, we drove to Chicago to pick up Biancaneve who came to us from Di Ala D’ Oro Kennel in the Netherlands. We have made many wonderful friends through our involvement with our dogs. We feel very fortunate that the people we have met are dedicated to safeguarding this very special breed. We hope more people will want to become involved with our mission of protecting the soundness of the Bracco Italiano. Mike and Peggy Casper Home phone: (620) 431-4343 E-mail: mpcasper@sbcglobal.net
