As a member of the North American Bracco Italiano Club:

- I agree not to engage in the practice of providing any Bracco Italiano to any individual, commercial wholesaler, or retailer for the purpose of resale. I agree not to promote indiscriminate breeding practices by advertising of availability of "breeding pairs", "stud dogs", or "bitches in whelp for sale" in effort to sell my Bracchi Italiani.

- I agree that if any Bracco Italiano on whose papers I am shown as either the breeder or co-breeder becomes a part of any breed rescue program, that upon written notification either I will assume financial responsibility for those Bracco Italiano expenses to which I agree and assist the Rescue Chairperson in finding suitable placement, or I will resume custody of the Bracco Italiano.

- I agree that I will provide each buyer of our Bracchi Italiani with accurate records regarding pedigree and certificate of health which includes the name, address, and telephone number of the attending veterinarian.

- I agree to provide a written contract/agreement for each sale or service which includes special conditions related to that sale.

- I agree to breed only with the aim of improving the breed. In this effort I will be familiar with the standard of the breed; stay informed of medical, behavioral, and genetic developments which will influence breeding; and will do everything in my power to discourage irresponsible breeding.

- I agree not to breed any dog or bitch exhibiting unsound temperament, a disqualifying hereditary defect, or poor health. I will not use for breeding any dog or bitch that has not been certified clear of hip dysplasia by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals or by PennHIP. I will also have any breeding animals certified clear of inheritable eye diseases by the Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF) prior to breeding.

- I agree not to release any puppy to its new owner prior to seven weeks of age or as the local ordinance states.

- I agree that I will not breed any bitches before the age of two or after the age of eight years and will not allow bitches to whelp more than once every 12 months. I will not breed males before the age of 2 years.

- I agree to act in a sportsmanlike manner and to never knowingly make unfair or untrue statements regarding the dogs or practices of others.
